Developing the solid lipid nanoparticles of Losartan using the stearic acid and glyceryl monostearate as the carrier matrices

This research work deals with the design and development of solid lipid nanoparticles Losartan to improve solubility poorly soluble drug. are formed using hot homogenization technique followed by ultrasonication technique. Experiment trend is predicted standard calibration curve. The parameters studied percent drug release, entrapment efficiency, particle size SLN in-vitro release prepared SLN. results obtained in this clearly indicated that developed nanoparticle delivery system for highly lipophilic drug, stearic acid, glyceryl monostearate as carrier matrices can be used effectively hypertension.
